Trish and Pete are one of those couples that’s just fun to be around. Very playful, adoring and just comfortable with each other. This made for an easygoing and fun shoot.
Last night Erica and I met them on the Plaza for our session. The weather finally got warmer after what, a month of near 0-degree temperatures? Last night’s 30-something temps felt positively balmy, though of course a lot of the pretty snow had melted away. Trish is from Minneapolis, so she was ready for shorts!
Window shopping for rings is fun!
It didn't take much prodding to get them to kiss. And kiss. And kiss...

Still catching up on posting 2009 sessions 
The City Market was nice & quiet on the day we got together for L&M’s engagement session! The weather late in the season was still pretty good to us. Love the colors and the sunlight that we caught. Can’t wait for your wedding; you two are so much fun.

Loose Park is a wonderful place for portraits. The trick is to schedule the session at an “off” time, because when there are literally 20+ photographers and their clients at the park at one time it gets a little crazy. Good thing we had that in mind; on this Sunday morning Julie, Brian and I had the park to ourselves! It was a beautiful late fall day and the air was crisp. During the session, the subject of neighborhoods came up and we discovered that we live less than a mile from each other. Small world. Looking forward to your wedding this year!

My favorite part of working as a photographer is being around people in love. Be it their family, thier child, their soon-to-be husband or wife.
Every engaged couple has a one-of-a-kind energy and it’s fun to interpret that energy into images. L & A are witty… no, hilarious… I can’t wait till their wedding day!
