It had rained most of last week which had both of my brides from last weekend a little worried. Luckily when it was time for the business end of things, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.
Courtney & Lance came all the way from Florida to wed in Kansas City. I’m so delighted to have met you and your wonderful families.

Juree, the owner of the Boulvard Florist, and I met way back in 2000. I still can’t beleive it’s been that long.
I walked into her shop by the Elms Resort & Spa, shook her hand and talked with her for a bit. I found her to be a genuine person with a sincere love for what she does. I remember flipping open her book on the counter to the first page and seeing a gorgeous red & white bouquet. My wedding was in December, so I pointed out this bouquet and told her that’s what I’d like. The cake topper, the candleabra arrangements, I wasn’t particular and gave her creative freedom for those. She went above and beyond to make sure my flowers were perfect, and a few years later when my brother was married she came through for us again.
Incredible flowers, impeccable customer service and reasonable prices. And do I recommend her for my clients? You bet I do.

The thing that I love most about Chelsea & Chris is that they both have a contagious laugh! We were all grinning ear to ear while documenting this wedding day.

It was a warm spring morning and I had the pleasure of spending time with Lizzi & David, who are getting married in July! Just a little over a month now, see you soon.

I have a soft spot in my heart for December couples as my own wedding day fell in December. The crisp air, the silence of the snow, the city lights and the early sunsets. How romantic is that?
Kyle and Marcela wanted a contrast to their wedding pictures so we braved the summer heat for their engagement portraits! And what a day we picked, didn’t we? Ooh the heat and humidity were stifling but we had a great time. Thanks to you both. Can’t wait to see you in December.
